What a difference a week makes... The Edmonton Oilers have shown that they
are serious when it comes to the rebuilding of the team. First, we get that
old fuddy duddy Pat Quinn of the bench, replaced by Tom Renney. Then, on July
25th made history at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by chosing 1st overall. who did we pic? none other then the Windsor Spitfire's
Superstar : Taylor Hall.

vs. Tyler (Seguin) was the number one topic in the NHL world. The Edmonton Oilers finally put
the question to rest by drafting Taylor in the #1 slot. Why Taylor Hall you may ask? Well let's
face it, the man is NHL ready, has credentials a mile long. Can score goals, fight for pucks and
not to mention won back to back memorial cups and back to back MVPs of the memorial cup
tournament (a first).
The question of Taylor vs. Tyler may still play out when both stars are in the NHL, much like
the Crosby / Ovechkin comparisons. On either front, it will do one thing for sure, make the
game even more interesting, specially for us Oiler fans.
